About Me

Hi everyone! My name is Carrie Hunter, owner of Hunter Family Child Care, established in 1993.

I have been watching kids for 40+ years and have worked with kids at the YMCA and City of Torrance. I provide children with love, attention, understanding, and acceptance.

Having children of my own and being in the Child Care field, I sought high-quality care for my children. This led me to personally raise them and extend the same offer to other parents, providing them with peace of mind.

Hunter Family Child Care is a licensed home childcare located in Torrance, CA that provides early childhood education for emotional and cognitive development. It is affordable child care services you can count on. I provide an enriching and stimulating home environment. I watch all age groups from newborns to toddlers.

Hunter Family Child Care provides breakfast and lunch in addition to two snacks throughout the day.

We do a lot of fun activities to keep your little tykes on their toes. We embrace their creative side with arts and crafts, practice flash cards. work on academic worksheets, sing songs, and more!

Kids also get plenty of socialization with other children at all ages.
